Internal Assessment (20 Marks)
Internal Assessment contain the following.

Periodic Assessment : 05 Marks

Multiple Assessment : 05 Marks

Portfolio : 05 Marks

Subject Enrichment Activities : 05 Marks
AISSE Examination (80 Marks)
Periodic Assessment
1. Each Student has to appear three periodic written tests in each subject besides Annual Examination in a year.
2. Average of the best two periodic tests to be taken for final marks submission.
3. Student has to secure 33% of marks out of overall 20 marks earmarked in each subject.
Multiple Assessment (5 Marks)
•Subject teachers would use multiple and diverse assessment technique to assess learners.
•These activities are to be recorded internally by respective subject teachers.
•It includes observation, oral tests, field-work, class discussion, concept map, graphic organizers, visual representation etc.
Portfolio
•It is aimed at enhancing seriousness of students towards preparing notes for the topics being taught in the class room as well as assignments(CW/HW copy).
•It also addresses the critical aspects like regularity, punctuality, neatness and the maintenance as well as submission of notebooks.
Subject Enrichment Activities (5 Marks)
•It is aimed at enrichment of the understanding and skill development.
•These activities are to be recorded internally by respective subject teachers.
•It includes Project work, Debates, Group Discussion etc.
Promotion Criteria
The Assessment scheme will have an 80 marks component for Board examination (class X) and Annual Examination (class IX) in all subjects except compulsory subjects to be assessed internally along with a 20 marks component of Internal Assessment. Students have to secure 33 percent in total in each of these components.
