Bicycle: the best cure for many problems

Fit India Cycle Rally by DAV, Kalinga Nagar

Bubaneswar, 09.06-DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar organised a cycle rally here at the campus in order to raise awareness about the benefits of the bicycle. More than 200 participants including staff members took part in the rally that started from the school at 7 am and went upto SUM Hospital square. Going in line with Fit India Cycle Rally being organised from 3 June to 10 June 2022 to sensitise about the multifarious benefits of the age old mode of transport, the Physical Education Department of the school took the lead in organising the programme. “The bicycle provides the best cure for so many problems ranging from health issues to environmental pollution that has plagued the world”, said the Principal of the school, Mr Bipin Kumar Sahoo to the participants before flagging off the programme. The level of enthusiasm of the participants spoke of the fact that bicycle, as the most sustainable means of transport shall continue rule over the hearts of the people for all time to come. The programme was smoothly conducted with the whole- hearted cooperation of all the staff member with complete adherence to the heat wave situations.
