Zonal Level Doha Competition

INTER-SCHOOL ‘DOHA RECITATION’ COMPETITITION AT DAV, KALINGA NAGAR Bhubaneswar, 23.09- DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar organized an Inter-school “Doha Recitation’ competition to mark the occasion of its silver jubilee year. More than 90 students from 23 DAV schools of Zone-1, Odisha participated wholeheartedly in this grand event to showcase their talent and creativity on the virtual plat form. “Pandemic COVID-19 can be a barrier between us but can never stop us from unraveling our talent and potential’, said the Principal of the school Mr Bipin Kumar Sahoo in his welcome address to the gathering. The meeting was followed by the beautiful recitation of dohas by different teams. DAV Public School, CDA, Cuttack and DAV Public School, Unit- 8 jointly won the 1st position while DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur and DAV Public School, IFFCO, Paradweep bagged the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Mr Pankaj Kumar Mishra, PGT, Hindi, DM School, Bhubaneswar and Miss Subhakeerti Tripathy, Music Teacher, KV-5, Bhubaneswar judged the participants. The competition was smoothly organized by the whole-hearted cooperation of all the members of the staff.
