Bhubaneswar, 10.11:- DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar celebrated the 94^th birth anniversary of its founder Chairman  and one of the forerunners of DAV movement in Odisha Late Er. BC Pattnaik in its premises today. In a meeting organised on this occasion amidst all cannons of COVID-19, the Principal of the school Sri Bipin Kumar Sahoo and teachers offered their floral tribute as a mark of their respect   to the great lover of institutions. In his address to the gathering, the Principal highlighted the sincerity, dedication of Late Er. BC Pattnaik and related the audience about his remarkable contributions in bringing up the DAV institutions of Odisha and in giving them their present status. As a sacred spark, a holy Hawan was organized in the school premises. In the commemorative creative writing competition held among the students of DAV Schools of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, Sanat Kumar Mishra of LR DAV, Cuttack bagged the first position in English language while Swarnavo Ghose of DAV, Pokhariput stood second. Similarly in Odia language the first position was clinched by Tanvi Mallick of DAV,Chandrasekharpur while Srishikta Rath of DAV, Pokhariput lifted the second position.  The entire programme was smoothly organised under the guidance of the Principal and with the wholehearted cooperation of all members of the staff.
