Bhubaneswar, 12.01- DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar organized an Inter-school Quiz Competition to mark the occasion of its silver jubilee year.  Around 58 students from 29 DAV schools of Zone-1, Odisha participated wholeheartedly in this grand event to showcase their talent and aptitude on the virtual platform. “Pandemic COVID-19 can be a barrier between us, but can never stop us from unraveling our talent and potential’, said the Principal of the school Mr Bipin Kumar Sahoo in his welcome address to the gathering. The quiz competition, held on the occasion of National Youth Day was preceded by a floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda: the spiritual guru who enlightened the world with his blaze of spiritualism.  In this connection, Vivekananda’s amazing speech at Chicago Parliament of Religions was delivered by the students in Odia and Marathi language in line with Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat programme introduced by CBSE. In the online quiz contest conducted by Quiz Master Mr Bivash Mishra, the founder member of Odisha Quiz Association, DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar represented by Abha Priyadarsinee and Lekisha Mohanty emerged as the champion while DAV Public School, Pokhariput and DAV Public School, Chandrasekarpur became the 1^st Runners up and 2^nd runners up respectively. The competition was smoothly organized by the whole-hearted cooperation of all the staff with complete adherence to COVID-19 SOPs.
